Vineyard Dance Center offers a wide variety of dance classes, including jazz, ballet, hip hop, tap and tumbling.
Each year, our program also includes a special TOUR opportunity, giving dancers the chance to perform in a unique location while gaining valuable performance experience and personal growth. This year we will be touring in St. George and Disneyland.
Our performance program includes two exciting shows each year—one at Christmas and one in the spring—allowing dancers to showcase their hard work and progress. We are committed to keeping costume costs affordable while ensuring they remain age-appropriate.

Meet The Team
Seneca (Owner)
Seneca Thruston is a highly accomplished dance educator and choreographer with over two decades of experience across a wide range of styles, including jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, ballet, tap, musical theatre, ballroom, and tumbling. Her dynamic career reflects a rare blend of professional performance, competitive achievement, and artistic direction on both national and international stages. She received her foundational training at Center Stage Performing Arts in Orem, Utah.
Her performance credits include appearing as a featured dancer in High School Musical 3, performing with the UVU Dance Team, and touring internationally with Odyssey Dance Theatre in acclaimed productions such as Thriller, Shut Up and Dance, Giselle, and Romeo and Juliet. She has also been a principal performer in Vibe Performing Arts productions, including Move, Evolutions of Dance, and One Night Only. Seneca’s excellence has been recognized with a national scholarship from New York City Dance Alliance, along with multiple grand prize titles at both national and collegiate dance competitions.
As an educator, Seneca has made a lasting impact through her work on the dance faculty at Utah Valley University and in leadership roles across Utah’s dance community. She has served as Company Director at The Pointe Academy and Jazz Director at The Dance Conservatory, where she has mentored and developed countless dancers. In addition, she has been a judge for USA and Relevé Dance Competitions, helping to guide and inspire the next generation of artists.
At the core of Seneca’s work is a deep belief in the transformative power of movement. She is dedicated to helping dancers cultivate intention, build confidence, and pursue their dreams with courage, discipline, and heart.
Corryn
Corryn has been dancing her whole life and up until 2 years ago, was on a dance company. She has done many different styles, from ballet to ballroom, been on dance tours to Disney World and New York, and now loves teaching little ones to dance. She is a stay-at-home mom of 4 and loves all things Disney. She loves painting her house and being with people. She graduated from Utah Valley University with a degree in Family Studies.
Corryn has had a lifelong passion for dance, training extensively and performing as a member of a competitive dance company until just two years ago. Her experience spans a variety of styles, from ballet to ballroom, and includes memorable performance tours to Disney World and New York.
Today, Corryn finds her greatest joy in sharing her love of dance with young children, helping them build confidence, creativity, and a strong foundation in movement. Her enthusiasm for teaching is rooted in the same passion that has guided her own dance journey.
Outside the studio, Corryn is a devoted stay-at-home mom of four who loves all things Disney, enjoys home projects—especially painting—and thrives on spending time with others. She is a graduate of Utah Valley University, where she earned her degree in Family Studies, a background that beautifully complements her nurturing approach to teaching.
Ashley
Ashley Wilcox is a versatile and passionate dance artist from Farmington, Utah, known for her strong technical foundation and expressive artistry. She began her training at Creative Arts Academy, where she studied a wide range of styles and was later recognized as the Sterling Scholar in Dance at Farmington High School. Ashley has graduated with her BFA in Modern Dance from Utah Valley University and will soon complete her degree in Statistics, reflecting both her creative mind and analytical perspective. During her time at UVU, she received multiple honors, including the Modern Dance Performance Scholarship, the Exemplary Merit Academic Scholarship, the Award of Merit in Modern Dance, and the Outstanding Student Award in Mathematics.
Ashley’s performance experience includes collaborations with professional companies such as Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, Repertory Dance Theatre, and SALT Contemporary Dance. She has worked with and performed pieces by numerous acclaimed choreographers, and spent the majority of her collegiate career as a member of UVU’s Contemporary Dance Ensemble, serving as Rehearsal Director in her final season. In addition to performing, Ashley has five years of teaching experience, working with dancers of all ages and levels. She is deeply passionate about choreography, collaboration, and helping students grow, and is excited to continue sharing her love of dance within the studio community.
Lucy
Lucy Tolman, from Millcreek, Utah, discovered her love for dance at just three years old. She trained for many years at The Children’s Ballet Theater, where her passion for ballet grew and she performed in over one hundred productions. She has also choreographed several works, continuing to explore her creativity through movement. In recent years, Lucy has expanded her training by working with the José Limón Company, Ballet West, and Gibney Dance. She now dances with Utah Valley University’s Repertory Ballet Ensemble while pursuing her BFA in Ballet. She loves the joy of performing and sharing her passion for dance with others.
